G1Wonders - Our Story

Our Story

When the entire world was pushed to the wall by a lethal virus, we turned to the singular refuge of solutions for the unknown – Science, or more specifically, Nanotechnology.

Our Genesis

It all started in 2012 when the founders of Nanomatrix Materials discovered a massive graphite ore deposit in Africa – unique in its quality, with some of the best flakes available across the property. This discovery opened their eyes to the immense potential of graphite and its applications, including its lucrative use in lithium-ion batteries.

Graphene, first discovered in 2004, gained global recognition in 2010 when Dr. Andre Geim and Dr. Kostya Novoselov were awarded the Nobel Prize for their groundbreaking work. Their discovery forever changed the world of nanomaterials.

The founders of Nanomatrix Materials had been closely following the graphene space since then, steadily building global expertise and forging relationships across this emerging yet highly impactful industry.

Our Commitment & Innovation

Our Commitment & Innovation

Nanomatrix Materials focuses on R&D and large-scale manufacturing of graphene-based products. It is among the first companies in India to integrate graphene into multiple applications and create strong value propositions.

The company partners with industries across filtration, polymers, construction, energy, and textiles to tackle unique challenges using graphene nanotechnology.

In response to the global pandemic of 2020, Nanomatrix developed NM-GTx, a Graphene–Silver Nanotechnology Composite with potent antimicrobial properties — used across masks, PPE, textiles, AC filters, furniture, and surface coatings.

Treated materials form an electrically charged layer that ruptures and destroys harmful microorganisms instantly.

Materials treated with NM-GTx form an electrically charged layer that instantly destroys harmful microorganisms. Under the brand G1 Wonders, the company offers high-performance masks, AC filters, and antimicrobial sprays, bringing this innovation into everyday use.

Nanomatrix has been featured by leading publications including Graphene-Info (Israel), Business Standard, Economic Times, Financial Express, and YourStory. The company has also filed patents in environmental cleanup, antimicrobial systems, and energy efficiency — reinforcing its strong R&D foundation and real-world impact.

Mr. Vikas Bardiya - Founder

Our Founder

Mr. Vikas Bardiya founded Nanomatrix Materials in 2020 and has led the company’s journey from research to real-world applications of graphene technology. With over a decade of involvement in graphite and graphene-related ventures and a BBA from Regents Business School, London, Mr. Bardiya brings strategic vision, operational leadership, and an entrepreneurial drive that guide the company’s R&D and commercialization efforts.

The company’s origins trace back to 2012 when a distinctive graphite deposit was identified — a discovery that inspired sustained investments in graphene research and product development. Under Mr. Bardiya’s leadership, Nanomatrix focuses on converting scientific discoveries into scalable solutions for filtration, energy, polymers, construction and textiles.

During the 2020 pandemic, Nanomatrix developed NM-GTx — a graphene–silver composite with notable antimicrobial performance used in masks, PPE, treated textiles, AC filters and surface coatings. These innovations are introduced to consumers under the brand G1 Wonders.
